In 2022 transportation was responsible for 43% of the entire province's emissions. Much of this is attributed to on-road transportation.\n\nOn Thursday January 30\, 2025 econext is hosting a workshop to provide an update on the latest initiatives and research relating to the decarbonization of transportation in Newfoundland and Labrador through the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) and other zero-emissions vehicles (ZEVs) such as those that use clean fuels like hydrogen.
