Doing Business with the Government of Canada

The Government of Canada purchases approximately $20 billion of goods and services each year.

The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (OSME) seminars provide key information about how to sell to the Government of Canada that will help you:

  • Understand the procurement process
  • Register in supplier databases
  • Build relationships
  • Search for opportunities
  • Obtain security clearances
  • Bid on opportunities

Presenter: Wendy Taylor, Outreach Officer

In her current role as Outreach Officer with the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises (part of Public Service and Procurement Canada), Wendy is part of an Atlantic Region team which assists private sector suppliers in taking advantage of government procurement opportunities, and promotes the Build in Canada Innovation Program, which buys and tests innovative products in government departments.
