OH&S Level 2 Training - June 2025 (virtual)
Occupational Health & Safety Training – Level II
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) training is essential for employers in Newfoundland & Labrador to comply with legal requirements and protect employees from workplace hazards. The Board of Trade’s Employer Advisors offer regular Level I and Level II training to ensure businesses of all sizes can meet OHS standards.
Level II training is designed for workplaces with 20 or more employees and builds on the foundational concepts learned in Level I.
The training covers:

Core OHS concepts;
-
Essentials of OHS committees;
-
Application of hazard recognition, evaluation, and control; and
-
How to make OHS committees effective.
*Other relevant topics such as mental health may be covered.
Employers must compensate workers for participating in training, and participants will receive a certificate upon completion.
