As CEO, AnnMarie is dedicated to working alongside the St. John’s Board of Trade team and Board of Directors to provide guidance, support, and solutions to members. Throughout her career, AnnMarie has worked with the region’s largest and often most complex organizations to help shape their vision, build meaningful relationships, establish connections with stakeholders, and achieve their business objectives. She channels her depth of experience in strategic marketing and communications into her role as CEO and comes to work every day focused on helping to ensure businesses in our city can grow, evolve, and thrive.

Our Manager of Finance and Compliance is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day financial control of the Board and ensuring that all the finances are properly administered and monitored with the assistance of the CEO and the Secretary/Treasurer. Duties include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, budgets, and financial statements. Jennifer also ensures the Board is in compliance with all regulatory bodies relating to all government agencies. Jennifer is also a member of the Treasurer’s Committee and is the staff-support to the Secretary/Treasurer.

Katrina spends her days connecting with members to ensure they are maximizing their member benefits, building strategic partnerships, and helping small businesses succeed.
 
Katrina has 20+ years of business development experience specializing in marketing, brand positioning, event and sales strategies, concept design, corporate events, and fund development. 

Shanelle is a natural born storyteller and as the Manager of Communications she incorporates storytelling and strategy to help businesses of every size, succeed and grow. Originally from Gander, she is a proud alumnus of STFX University – bringing a decade of communications, PR and advocacy experience from numerous sectors, including tech, tourism, labour and charitable organizations.

When not with the team, Shanelle is an avid traveller, runner, Scotland aficionado and loves spending time with her beautiful new son, family and Chocolate Labrador, Charley.

Sophie's role as Member Value Coordinator means she is dedicated to helping members make the most out of their membership. You can find her supporting small and local businesses by ensuring they are taking advantage of Member Savings Programs, utilizing funding opportunities, and making valuable connections.

After graduating in the spring of 2023 from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Sophie has stayed inspired to help grow local organizations through roles in Marketing Communications, Brand Development, and Event Coordination. Sophie looks forward to connecting with members and expanding her network in the community.
