Julianne began working with the LNCC in April 2010 and remained there for six years. She worked for the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay as the Director of Economic Development and in July 2019, Julianne accepted the position of Chief Executive Officer with the LNCC. Julianne brings significant experience to the organization relating to economic development, event management, communications, public relations, marketing, tourism, and member relations. She holds degrees in sociology and public relations, and a Masters degree in public relations from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, N.S. She currently sits as a Director on the Grenfell Foundation’s Eastern Chapter, the YMCA Newfoundland and Labrador Board of Directors, and Northern and Rural Affairs Committee of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. Julianne is an avid community volunteer and a strong advocate for economic and community development in Labrador.
