St John’s, NL, May 3rd, 2023 - In just a few short weeks, the St. John’s Board of Trade will host their annual conference “Business Bootcamp” for its second year, welcoming hundreds of members to the Delta Hotel St. John's Conference Centre on May 16th & 17th.
Unlike regular conferences, Business Bootcamp is designed for busy businesspeople who don’t have time to sit back, zone out, and take it all in. Through a variety of informative sessions, members are encouraged to take a more “roll-up your sleeves” approach, providing a fast-paced look at topics and advice that will help their businesses grow.
“We’re so excited for year two of Bootcamp,” said AnnMarie Boudreau, CEO, St. John’s Board of Trade. “We have an incredible line-up of events that really dig-in to what matters to our members, including our keynote luncheon, interactive workshops, enlightening panel sessions and our ever-popular Love Local Lunch. There is so much to see and do over the course of two days and we look forward to learning and celebrating with our incredible business community!”
“It’s always rewarding when I get to connect with like-minded local business owners that make up the fabric of our communities,” said Greg Roberts, Owner & CEO, Mary Brown’s and Keynote Speaker for Business Bootcamp.“The St. John’s Board of Trade has created a unique way for businesspeople to come together and get energized, and I am really looking forward to being a part of it.”
“We know our panel will create a safe space for an open dialogue between members and we welcome that opportunity,” said Stephanie Howlett, CEO, DiversityNL and Panelist Moderator for Business Bootcamp. “It’s so important for businesses to collectively discuss how to advance diversity, inclusion, equity & belonging, and this conference will allow for those conversations to happen in a meaningful and authentic way.”
